It's interesting to note that Greg and I (The Torrs) followed the identical route [to team Teriyaki Donut], with the following minor exceptions:

1. We intentionally skipped 16
2. We visited 41 before 52 (we felt it was a toss-up which to do first)
3. After 31 we had time only for 14 and 11 and so missed the rest of the lower-value points around the EC (23, 13 and 15).

As did Teriyaki Donut, we decided from the outset that we wouldn't have enough time to get to Sand Point and Eckstein. We confirmed when we reached 36 that we wouldn't have time to get out there and back within the time limit. Even if we had picked up the 90 points available at Sand Point and gone straight to the EC there wouldn't have been an advantage, because the route we actually took between 36 and the EC was also 90 points.

We had not intended to go to 27 because we were more concerned about getting back across the cut before the bridge went up, but as it happened it was up when we arrived so we picked up 27 after all.
